My name is Alana and I have recently completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Deakin University. Throughout my time at Deakin, I have been honoured to be offered a number of opportunities to showcase and build on my leadership skills. These experiences have helped shape me into the passionate and empathetic leader that I am today.

Leadership is not easily defined, however, I believe that is where the beauty lies. Leadership is different to everyone but to me, a true leader is one who empower others, is an active listener, and takes on feedback to better themselves. My journey has allowed me to become this person, as you will come to see throughout this portfolio. 

 

As a lifelong learner, I look forward to future endeavours to enhance my skills as a leader.
